CA CCW NON-RESIDENT PERMIT INFORMATION
OVERVIEW
Beginning April 22, 2025, CA will be accepting applications for non-resident Concealed Carry permits. Classroom portion may be via ZOOM by a CA authorized trainer. Range portion can be done in your state, or in CA by a CA approved trainer. 308 Tactical are approved CA CCW trainers, as well as P.O.S.T certified Law Enforcement Instructors.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be a non-resident of CA. You are required to provide a location(s) where you visit. Ink fingerprints cards (completed on range) are required. A written test and shooting qualification is required. 16 hours (Part 1 classroom, Part 2 range) of total training is required.
