  Teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. This is not your standard  "4 hr sit in a class and get my permit" course.  It includes all the  necessary to understand the fundamentals of Concealed Carry, and range instruction necessary to learn the concealed fundamentals of personal defense using a handgun. The NRA CCW Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This instructor-led only course gives you direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end and is conducted in a classroom and on a shooting range with an Instructor.  NRA CCW takes place in a traditional classroom and range environment. Course topics include: Firearm / Home Safety, Pistol Nomenclature and Selecting a Pistol for Self-Defense, Colorado gun & concealed laws, Basic Defensive Pistol Skills, Drawing from Holster & Concealment, Loading and Stoppage Remediation, Movement, Shooting Fundamentals, Mindset, Carry Modes, Pistol Concealment, Firearm Cleaning, and Sport Shooting and Training Activities.  Please verify this course meets your States requirements for your CCW application.
