308 Tactical is a team of professional instructors who are authorized by the Sheriff’ Departments of Los Angeles, Ventura, San Diego, and Kern Counties, including all the Police Depts from San Diego to Paso Robles and in between. We are authorized by LAPD. We are current and prior Law Enforcement, SWAT, military, and executive protection. We are professionals with a passion for sharing our knowledge and training to others, especially when protection and safety is of primary concern.
TRAINING TEAM
Will is President and lead instructor at 308 Tactical. He has been teaching civilians, law
enforcement, military, and govt for the past 15 years in various disciplines of firearm
techniques, tactics and safety in handgun, rifle, precision rifle, shotgun, taser, OC, and
other less-lethal disciplines.
He is a P.O.S.T. certified Law Enforcement Weapons & RDS Trainer/Instructor, BSIS Firearms
Trainer/Instructor, DOJ CCW, NRA and Law Enforcement Handgun and Rifle instructor, NRA Training Counselor, Taser, and Concealed Carry Permit instructor in CA, NV, CO, AZ, UT, FL,TX, MT, WY, WA and OR. During his off-time, he provides executive protection services for high profile clients.
Paige is a lead instructor for handgun and rifle courses, and is instrumental in guiding our females and younger groups. She is a P.O.S.T. certified Law Enforcement Instructor, certified DOJ CCW Instructor, BSIS Armed
Security professional, and NRA Pistol, Rifle, CCW, PPITH, PPOTH Instructor and CRSO (Training Counselor shortly). During her off-time, she provides executive protection services for high profile clients.
Paul is a lead instructor in Pistol and Rifle courses. Paul is a P.O.S.T. certified Law Enforcement Instructor, certified DOJ CCW
Instructor and NRA CCW, Pistol, Rifle Instructor, and Chief Range Safety Officer. During his spare time, you can find him on the range perfecting his skills.
Hayden currently assists with handgun and rifle courses, and is instrumental in guiding
our new Law Enforcement cadets and younger groups. He is a certified DOJ Instructor and NRA Pistol & Rifle Instructor and CRSO. During the daytime, Hayden can be found managing the streets for LASD.
PJ is lead instructor for handgun and rifle courses. He is P.O.S.T. Firearms Instructor, Tactical Riffle Instructor, Less Lethal Instructor, and Academy Instructor certified. His Federal DOJ Law Enforcement Certifications include Range Master, Tactical Trainer, Less Lethal Instructor, Scenario Development Instructor, Emergency Management Instructor, and Reppel Master. Additional certifications include NRA Training Counselor and he is an authorized CA DOJ CCW Instructor.
Zack is an instructor in Pistol courses. He is a certified DOJ CCW Instructor, NRA Pistol and Range Safety Officer. During his spare time, you can find him on the range perfecting his skills.
Marty carries with him vast years of experience in Law Enforement and SRT operations training and tactics. He is a certified LTC (License to Carry) instructor in TX. He is a certified NRA Pistol, Rifle, CCW Instructor and CRSO. During his off-time, he provides executive protection services for high profile clients.
Dan is currently the SWAT team lead and assistant Rangemaster for his local police department. He has an extensive background in military, explosives, and various firearms training disciplines. He has trained with many of the top firearms instructors in the country. Dan is our team lead for all Precision Rifle courses.
We provide concealed carry and firearms courses. We teach beginners to advanced students proven safety, technique and defensive tactics for modern handguns, rifles and shotguns, as well as provide concealed carry permit training for certificates for many states.
Many gun owners lack the proper safety, handling, and defensive skills necessary to protect themselves or their family. A firearm can be a dangerous liability for the gun owner if there is no training.
Our training concepts always start with safety. We teach confidence with your firearm–through repetition and muscle memory. We teach law enforcement proven concepts to people who want a high level of training. You will come away with more confidence with your firearm, no matter your level. We break bad habits and replace them with proven ones.
