CA NON-RESIDENT CCW  PERMIT INFORMATION

OVERVIEW

Ventura County Sheriffs Office is now accepting applications for CA non-resident Concealed Carry permits.  Classroom portion may be via ZOOM by a CA authorized trainer.  Range portion can be done in your state, or in CA, by a CA state approved trainer.  308 Tactical are approved CA CCW trainers, as well as P.O.S.T certified Law Enforcement Instructors.  We can also provide CCW permits for NV, UT, FL, CO, and AZ.

You will be asked to provide a location(s) in Ventura County where you visit or will be visiting within the next 12 months on the application.  Email info@308tac.com with your phone # if you are having a hard time figuring this out.

REQUIREMENTS (Ventura County, CA)

1. You must be a non-resident of CA.
2. Be a current member of CRPA (~$55) (Signup Here)<https://crpa.org/membership/membership-levels/>

3. Complete the Ventura County Non-Resident Application here (~$200+) – https://venturaca.permitium.com/ccw/start
4. LIVESCAN fingerprints will be required after approval (~$80) .
5. Training Requirement of 16 hrs (~$495). Written test and shooting qualification required. 6 hours classroom (Evening Zoom) and 10 hours range (all day in your city).

OTHER PERMITS
We will be offering resident permit training and UT/FL/AZ permit training combined with the CA Non-Resident course.  There is no additional time requirements.  There is an additional charge for these.
RANGES

Our OUTDOOR ranges are used by Law Enforcement, Government, Military, Civilian, and Weapons Contractors.  We continually add and improve ranges.

      2. No Criminal Record / Mental Illness
      3. Previous Firearm Holster Training
